Incident Management: The Key to Enterprise Resiliency

The threat of cybersecurity breaches is no longer a question of "if" or "when” but has already arrived!

Cybersecurity Professionals and IT Managers will face more rigorous, demanding expectations amidst an increasingly tougher corporate climate as cyberattacks, scams and lapses become increasingly common.

This necessitates increased agility and nimbleness to gather project stakeholders' and resources' input to accomplish more - but with fewer resources while avoiding potentially costly risks.

Even the best experts will be stumped if they don't have access to the right tools and capabilities to tackle - and address - fundamental underlying cybersecurity concerns and root causes – as hackers, scammers and bad actors think and act, several steps ahead. A current example is the OCBC phishing scam.

Hear from world-leading, multi-million-dollar problem solving guru, Dr. Matt Fourie, as he reveals the most critical skills that all Cybersecurity Professionals and IT Managements must know and adapt to manage the “Cybersecurity Endemic” in 2022 and beyond!

Cyber Incident Management for Enterprise Risk Management:
A Practical View

According to the US Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the increasing frequency, creativity, and severity of cybersecurity attacks means that all enterprises should ensure that cybersecurity risk is receiving appropriate attention within their enterprise risk management (ERM) programmes.

Cybersecurity is more than just implementing a checklist of requirements, but about managing cyber risks on an ongoing and acceptable level backed by a robust incident response plan.

Incident response must not be treated as an isolated event and it is critical that your organisation incorporates cyber risks into your existing risk management and governance processes.

Incident Response Management is vital to your business continuity, cyber-resiliency and enterprise risk management.

The question to be asked is, "How prepared is your organisation?"

Join NCS' Singapore Lead Security Consultant, Tejesh Rajendrajumar, as he shares valuable insights on how Cyber Incident Management should be implemented as part of your organisation's Enterprise Risk Management.

The NextGen Leader: Key Competencies to Manage the Workforce of Tomorrow

By 2025, Millennials will make up 75% of the global workforce, with more than half (58% of worldwide Millennials) living in Asia.

As this huge demographic becomes a major source of talent in Asia, businesses have no choice but to keep up with the demands of working with this group of talent to be relevant in the new normal.

Whether you accept it or not, traditional management methods will no longer work with today's generation of employees. In contrast, the traditional method makes Millennials (and Gen-Zs) disinterested and unengaged in producing results!

Performance is dependent on management in any generation of workers and if you can't get what you need from your Millennial and Gen-Z talent, now's the time to learn how to lead them effectively in the way that they require.

But how exactly do you adapt your management style to get the most out of your Millennials and Gen-Z teams?

Get all the answers, and more, from Vivek Iyyani, Asia's leading voice and expert on managing millennials based on his latest findings and practical research as a sought-after consultant to organisations locally and our region.

How to Counter the Great Resignation By Engaging
Your Multi-Generational Workforce

The rapid pace of technology innovations, coupled with international trade have made the world into a more connected and interdependent place to live and work in.

Today’s world that the millennials and Gen Ys are accustomed to is a very different world that the generations like Gen X and the Baby Boomers before them grew up in. This difference is causing a great divide between the generations and is therefore important that we understand the dynamics of a multi-generation workforce to improve the engagement in the workplace.

With the current pandemic stretching into the third year, safe distancing measures and working-from-home have reduced human social interaction both in work and personal life and causing uncertainty and stress to people everywhere. This has led to what observers are calling the Great Resignation.

How Chong Peng, Director and Chief of Staff of GlobalFoundries, is passionate about understanding the multi-generational workforce and with his experience from managing the pandemic response in his organisation, he aims to share his insights through his talk and steps we can take to bridge the generational divide and counter the Great Resignation.
