Many people associate Lean Management with manufacturing industry. Few people realise that techniques can be applied to the Service Industry (Banks, Insurance, Healthcare, Hospitals, Retails, Logistics, Transportation, etc.) to achieve great savings from productivity by eliminating needless "waste" in the service industry.
