With increasing regulatory compliance and legislation requirements in the face of new and more cyber-threats against data and business services, business managers, line managers and non-security IT managers need to have a comprehensive yet succinct idea of cyber-security issues and challenges in their organisation and team under their charge. Cyber-security and data security issues are abound with the continued proliferation of internet services and mobile services; then with more connectivity, organisations are now more prone to cyber-terrorism, hactivism and cyber-crime.
This 2-day Cyber-Security Management Foundation Masterclass is tailored for business managers and non-security IT managers to equip one with a high-level cheat-sheet smorgasbord of the key aspects, domains, issues and solutions for cyber-security and the associated management and governance elements.
The course is also meant to provide C-level officers, Senior IT Executives or non-IT Business Executives with good working knowledge to understand cyber-security challenges and trends, dos and don’ts in Service Level Agreement in Cloud Computing, basic incident response management and disaster recovery and Business Continuity practices, as well as Regulatory Framework policies and Governance in Cyber Security.

Anthony is a 20-year veteran and pioneer cyber-security & governance professional in the Asia Pacific region. He is a well-known speaker and content-provider for many business, industry, government and academic conferences, workshops, committees, executive roundtables on matters of cyber-security and governance, and has been interviewed often on TVnews
including BBC. He has presented at a NATO workshop, a Washington DC conference and also at a seminar at Stanford University.
Anthony has vast experiences in business management, consulting, auditing, and advocacy and training. He has held regional security business unit leadership roles at IBM, CA (Computer Associates), and Check Point. He sits on a Singapore Government cyber-security industry committee, is an ISO-27001 Auditor. He was a pioneer for (ISC) 2’s software security professional certification and a co-developer of their cloud security professional certification, and an instructor for both programs.
He has conducted many training classes on cyber-security and governance matters, for both tertiary institutions (Master’s Degree, Polytechnic Final Year, Adult Professional Post-Grad Specialist Dip), and for government departments and commercial organizations, in Singapore and the region.
He was a 7-term ex-co office-bearer at Singapore ICT Federation Security & Governance Chapter, and charter member of ISC2.org Application Security Council. He is a 2-time recipient of ISC2’s Senior Information Security Professional Award (2010, 2016), and also received their President’s Award (2010).
Anthony is a guest and adjunct instructor at tertiary institutions in Singapore and the region for Cyber-security and governance subjects, and life alumni member of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
